The End

Hello,

I have decided that I am no longer going to update this website. I am still a Remioromen fan and I still enjoy following their activities, but after one year, I feel that updating this site is a chore. It takes a lot of effort to give a good translation/write up of the news, updating discography and song pages, and especially the gallery and downloads.

I hope you guys understand, and thanks for visiting. I will be keeping this site up, and who knows, maybe I might come back one day. ;)

I will leave you in suspense; Remioromen's official website has been recently updated in the past day with a red banner across the top.

BIG NEWS!

It is a countdown to the new year... I wonder what they will reveal?

New song, "Koi no Yokan Kara"
Posted on Sat Aug 29, 2009 7:42 pm EST by lambchopsuey

Remioromen announced a "new" song called "Koi no Yokan Kara". This song was previously performed only once by just Fujimaki and an acoustic guitar at the ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2007. "Koi no Yokan Kara" (恋の予感から) means "From Love's Premonition". The song will be the CM song for Bridgestone BLIZZAK tires, starting September 1st. A release date for a possible single has not been announced yet.

You can hear the acoustic rendition here:

"Starting Over" TV lives
Posted on Fri Jul 31, 2009 12:11 am EST by lambchopsuey

This post contains all the "Starting Over" TV lives to date:
  • [2009.07.15] WEDNESDAY J-POP (from YouTube HD)
  • [2009.07.17] MUSIC STATION + Talk
  • [2009.07.17] MUSIC FIGHTER (from YouTube HD)
  • [2009.07.18] CDTV + Talk
  • [2009.07.19] MUSIC JAPAN + Talk
  • [2009.07.27] HEY!HEY!HEY!MUSIC CHAMP + Talk (from YouTube)
I apologize and retract my previous statement saying that they were all in HQ. The HEY!x3 one is medium YouTube quality recorded from an analog broadcast.

The 720p YouTube HD files are available in their original form, as well as a smaller 768x432 resolution encode by me. YouTube encodes their HD files at only 2000kbps, so most high-motion videos are extremely blocky. I provided the videos at a smaller resolution to try and combat that; they are still a bit blocky, but they are also easier to watch since YouTube HD videos lag. (I can play 1080i HD videos smoothly on mine, but the 720p YouTube ones are always bad.)

Anyway, enough of my blabbing. Onto the videos!
